Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it appears that the act to which this is a supple-
|
|
ment, as engrossed and printed, provides that it shall go into
|
|
force on the first day of March following the passage thereof,
|
|
and the operation of said act is thereby delayed for the period
|
|
of nearly one year, and contrary to the intention of the general
|
|
assembly, that intention having been that said act should be in
|
|
force, from and after the first day of May, in the year eighteen
|
|
hundred and thirty-two ; therefore,
|

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
now in
force.

That the said act be, and the same is hereby declared to be in
|
|
full force and effect from and after the passage of this act.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
damages.
|
That it shall be the duty of the inspectors of green hides and
|
|
skins, in the city of Baltimore, to keep a regular minute of the
|
|
damage of each and every hide and skin slaughtered by the
|
|
several butchers of the city of Baltimore, and so report the
|

same monthly to an agent or collector to be appointed by the
|
|
mayor and city council of Baltimore, to whom he shall give
|
|
bond with security.
