said city ; and the said corporation may provide for the exercise

SEC. 13 And be it enacted) That an act of assembly, passed

SEC. I. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the nnxt election for members of the first branch of the

city council shall be held on the third Monday in January,
