AN ACT for the encouragement of Primary Schools in Anne Arundel

 

County.-— 1827, ch. 173.

 

Repealed, save the 2d sec. by 1828, ch. 55.

is hereby assigned and appropriated for the encouragement and

 

support of public instruction, and placed under the direction

 

and control of the commissioners of primary schools for said

 

county, and the treasurer of the western shore is hereby autho-

 

rized and directed, to place in the Farmers Bank of Maryland,

 

to the credit of the commissioners of primary schools aforesaid,

 

the dividends or profits arising on the school fund already in-

 

vested, and also all moneys which from time to time may here-

 

after be received into the treasury belonging to the school fund

 

of said county.

 

AN ACT to repeal part of an Act, entitled, an Act for the encouragement

 

of Primary Schools in Anne Arundel County. — 1828, ch. 55.

Repeal.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the act for the encouragement of primary schools in Anne

 

Arundel county, passed at December session, eighteen hundred

 

and twenty-seven, chapter one hundred and seventy-three, ex-

 

cepting the second section thereof, be, and the same is hereby

 

repealed.

arising on said stock, as they arise, shall be deposited in the

 

Farmers Bank of Maryland, to the credit of the commissioners

 

of primary schools in said county.
