ORPHANS COURT.

 

AN ACT concerning the Justices of the Orphans Court of Ailegany

 

County.— 1832, ch. 298.

Mileage

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

allowed to.

That each of the justices of the orphans court of Ailegany

 

county, residing in the county, in addition to the per diem now

 

received by law, shall, after the passage of this act, be entitled

 

to receive at the rate of twelve and an half cents per mile, as

 

often as each of them shall attend the court, as itinerant com-

 

pensation, for every mile each of them may travel, coming

 

from his place of residence in the country to the town of Cum-

 

berland, to attend the business of the said court; Provided,

 

that itinerant compensation by the mile, shall not be charged

 

more than once for each and any term of the court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the register of wills, for

Ailegany county, at each meeting of the orphans court, shall

 

make a memorandum iri the minutes of said court, of the num-

 

ber of miles travelled by any justice of the orphans court as

 

aforesaid, at every court each of them shall attend from the

Levy court

country; and the commissioners of Allegany county shall, at

to levy, &c.

their annual levy of the county charges of Ailegany county,

 

levy said itinerant compensation for the use of any justice as

 

aforesaid, at the time of levying his per diem allowance ; which

 

itinerant compensation shall be collected and paid to any such

 

justice, in the same manner as his per diem allowance is now

 

collected and paid by law.

 

PANTHERS, SEARS AND WOLVES.

 

An ACT for the destruction of Wolves, Bears, Panthers, and other noxious

 

Animals in Ailegany County.— 1827, ch. 112.

Reward for

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

killing

That from and after the passage of this act, every person who

 

is an actual resident of Ailegany county, who shall kill or

 

destroy any wolf or .panther within the limits of Ailegany

 

county, shall be entitled to an allowance from said county of

 

fifteen dollars for every wolf beyond the age of six months, at

 

the time of its destruction, so killed or destroyed, of six dollars

 

for every wolf under the age of six months at the time of its

 

destruction! and of five dollars for every panther, so killed or
