against any person or persons who may hinder or obstruct the
sheriff or coroner, in taking possession of any such book or
books.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That as soon as any sheriff or
coroner, or other officer, who may have been directed as afore
said to lay any attachment or fieri facias upon any interest in
the capital or joint stock of any corporation or upon any debt
transferable upon the books of any corporation, shall have beer
satisfactorily informed by any of the ways and means aforesaid
or otherwise, of the number of shares in the capital or joint
stock of any corporation or amount of debt transferable as afore
said standing on the books of any corporation in the name of
any person or persons or body corporate, against whose goods
