The Governor appoints three Certified Public Accountants (one each
year) for terms of three years each, together with one attorney for a
term of two years, and one economist (selected from a list of three
names submitted by the President of Johns Hopkins University) for a
term of two years (Chapter 585, 1924; Bagby’s Annotated Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, Article 75-A).
The duties of this Board are to examine all applicants for cer
tificates as Certified Public Accountants. Examinations are held at
least once in each year and are conducted according to such rules and
regulations as the Board may adopt. The results of the examinations
are reported to the Governor who issues certificates accordingly. The
Governor may revoke such certificates for cause.

gage in the business of undertaking in this State, and before any person.
co-partnership or corporation now so engaged in said business in this
State, who shall fail to register with the State Board of Undertakers of
Maryland, in accordance with Section 236 of the Acts of the General
