INVENTORY.        21

actually did appraise the estate in dollars at 7s6,
an allowance be obtained in favour of the administrator
in his account; for no inventories
are received, either by the commisary-general,
or by his deputies, but such as are valued in
dollars at 6s; or, when know to be valued
otherwise, whose amount total is not previously
converted into that currency.
 

    It is to be observed, that the appraisement of
the deceased's effects, together with the list of
debts, and money received by the executor or
administrator, either before, or since such appraisement,
do jointly constitute but one whole
inventory; by which collective sums pauper
estates are determined, as well, as the extent
of the deputy commissary's power in the passing
of accounts.
 
    An inventory so circumstanced, (with the
warrant, certifying the appraisers qualifications,
thereto annexed) being produced, the following
probate is to be taken, by the administrator,
to wit.
 
        ------ County, ss. the -- of -- 1773.
Then came A. B. administrator of C. D. late of --
    county, deceased; and made oath on the holy evangels
    of almighty God, that the foregoing is a true
