        lord and proprietary of the province of
        Maryland.
 
    To the sheriff of A. B. county, greeting--
We command you to cite and summon C. D.
that all excuses and delays set apart, he be and
appear before our commissary general and judge
for probate of wills &c. at our prerogative
court, to be held at the city of Annapolis, on
the second Tuesday of            next, to shew
cause &c.
hereof fail not at your peril, and have you then
and there this writ.
 
    Witness the honourable W. F. Esquire, our
commissary general and judge for probate of
wills &c. this                day of                    in
the                year of our Dominion &c. Anno
domini,
