ARTICLE XVII.
QUADRENNIAL
ELECTIONS.
Section 1. All State offi-
cers elected by qualified
voters (except judges of the
Circuit Courts, judges of the
Supreme Bench of Baltimore
City, judges of the Court
of Appeals and judges of any
intermediate courts of ap-
peal), and all county officers
elected by qualified voters,
shall hold office for terms of
four years, and until their
successors shall qualify.

Sec. 2. Elections by qual-
fied voters for State and
county officers shall be held
on the Tuesday next after
the first Monday of Novem-
ber, in the year nineteen
hundred and twenty-six, and
on the same day in every
fourth year thereafter.

Art. IV, sec. 24. The first
election of Judges, Clerks,
Registers of Wills, and all
other officers, whose election
by the people is provided for
in this article of the Con-
stitution, except justices of
the peace and constables,
shall take place throughout
the State on the first Wed-
nesday of November next
after the ratification of this
Constitution by the people.

fixed by law. All officers ap-
pointed by County Commis-
sioners shall hold office for
terms of four years, unless
