County Seat—Easton.

Origin of Name—After Grace Talbot, daughter of George, first Lord
Baltimore.

Date of Formation—1661. Area—286 square miles.

Court Terms—Jury, third Monday in May and November. Non-
jury, first Monday in February and fourth Monday in July.

Orphans' Court Days—Every Tuesday, except Election Day.
