THURSDAY, March 7th, 1867.

On motion by Mr. Bowie,

The Senate advised and consented to the following nomi-
nations :

Michael Keefer, Robert E. Duvall and Robert Sellman, as
Assistant Inspectors of Flour ;

James T. Perkins, Alvar G. Woodward, J. Alexander Price,
William Welch and Thomas J. Graham, as Inspectors of
Tobacco ;

John Donovan, Thomas Rowles and James M. Leiter, as
Assistant Inspectors of Grain ;

George Bowers, William Raine, N. P. Mules., Samuel Hol-
lingshead, Jethro Woolford, George H. White and William
Richardson, as inspectors of and Corders of Fire-wood ;

John N. Lineweaver Wm. F. Nichola, Wm. H. Smith
and John E. Martin, as Guagers of Casks and Inspectors of
Domestic and distilled Liquors in Baltimore city.

James G. Hardesty, as Inspector of Salted Fish in Balti-
more city. .

Nicholas A. Sheppard, as Weigher of Hay at the Western
Scales in Baltimore city.

Patrick Kavanaugh, as Weigher of Hay in the new East-
ern Scales in Baltimore county.

Wm. Woodward. John T. Morris, John S. Mitchell and
Dr. T. Robert Ward, as Managers on the part of the State in
the House of Refuge.

George E. Sangston, Josept T, Atkinson, as Notaries Pub-
lic in Baltimore city.

On motion by Mr. Bowie,

The Senate refused to advise and consent to the nomination
of Robert Talbot, as Assistant Inspector of Grain.
On motion by Mr. Bowie,

The Senate refused to advise and consent to the nomination
of Charles Whettemore, as Weigh Master of Live Stock in
Baltimore city.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The Senate refused to advise and consent to the nomination
of Benjamin F. May, as inspector General of Grain by yeas
and nays as follow:
