Mr. Kimmel moved that

The bill entitled an Act to alter and amend an Act entitled
an Act to add a new article to the Code of Public General
Laws, to be entitled " public instruction," providing a uni-
form system of free public schools for the State of Maryland,
and to repeal all existing laws inconsistent therewith passed
at the January session, 1865, be made the order of the day for
to-morrow at 10 1/2 o'clcok;

Determined in the affirmative by yeas and naya as follow :
