Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The bill entitled, an Act to compensate Job Haines and
Daniel M. Moore, for extra services rendered in the Comp-
troller's Office;

Being under consideration,

Mr. Jump submitted the following amendment:

Add at end of 1st section, "to J. Frank Kramer, the sum
of three hundred dollars for services to Comptroller for copy
of Muster rolls, &c.;

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays as follow :

Ordered, That the Chaplain to the Senate be paid two
hundred dollars for services rendered.
