Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Del-
egates.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal an Act entitled, an Act
to authorize Mrs. Margaret Sherwood, wife of Hugh Sher-
wood, of Talbot county, to close a public road leading through
her lands in said county, passed at the January session of the
General Assembly, 1864, chapter 323,

Was read the third time and passsed by yeas and nays as
follow :

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland In-
dustrial Agency and to aid Railroad Companies, Farmers,
Planters, Manufacturers, and others, to obtain loans and ad-
vances of money of credits upon more favorable terms than
such and loans credits are usually given by banks;

Being under consideration,

Mr. Stephenson submitted the following amendment:
Amend by adding, "Section 7, And be it enacted. That
this Act may be repealed, modified, or altered by the Legis-
lature at any time hereafter."

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrosed for a third reading.

Was read the third time by special order, three-fourths
concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow :
