AN ACT to enable the Directors of the Maryland
Institution for the Instruction of the Blind to
complete and render fit fur occupation the
building now in course of erection, in Baltimore
county. |

WHEREAS, since the commencement of the build-
ing now in course of erection in Baltimore county,
the prices of labor and material of every descrip-
tion have advanced so largely that it is found
impossible to complete the same without a very
considerable addition to the original estimates,
and whereas, the requirements of the Maryland
Institution for the instruction of the Blind render
the speedy completion of said building absolutely
necessary, therefore, |
Preamble. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assern-
bly of Maryland, That for the purpose of enab-
ling the Maryland Institution for the Institution
of the Blind to complete and render tenantable the
building now in course of erection in Baltimore
county for said Institution, the Treasurer of the
State, upon the warrant of the Comptroller shall
pay to the Treasurer of said Institution for the
year eighteen hundred and sixty-seven the sum of
thirty thousand dollars, and the said sum of
thirty thousand dollars is hereby appropriated for
that purpose out of any unappropriated money in
the Treasury. |
