entitled to the game pay, rations and other allow-
ances as are or may be hereafter established by
law for the army of the United States; and when-
ever any officers, non-commissioned officers or sol-
diers shall perform camp, garrison, guard or other
duty under the orders of the Commander-in-Chief
or by virtue of general regulations, they shall be
entitled to the same rate of pay as hereinbefore
provided for every day actually employed in the
performance of such duty.

Entitle to
pension.

14. Every person who whilst in the actual Mili-
tary service of this State shall be wounded or disa-
bled in opposing or suppressing any invasion, in-
surrection or riot shall be entitled to receive a pen-
sion from the State equal to the amount allowed
by the United States.

Uniforms,
&c., exempt.

15. Uniforms, arms and accoutrements of the
National Guard shall be exempt for all suits, dis-
tresses, executions or sales for debts or for the
payment of taxes, and every mounted officer or
any member of a troop or light battery who shall
own a suitable horse necessary for his use as such
officer or member shall hold the same with the
like exemption.

Enrollment.

16. All persons liable to military duty other
than members of the National Guard shall be en-
rolled and be commanded by the captain of the
company, district or other officer assigned to such
duty.

Inspector
General to re-
port.

17. The Inspector General shall attend to the
organization of the militia of this State; he shall
inspect every branch connected with the military,
service, attend general parades and encampments
when other official duties will permit and report
at the end of the year to the Commander-in-Chief.

Times for pa-
rade.

18. Every regiment, battalion, squadron or in-
dependent company of the National Guard shall
parade for the purpose of discipline, inspection
and review at least four times in each year be-
tween the first day of May and the first day of
December on such day and at such places as the
commanding officers thereof respectively may de-
signate; brigade and division parades will be or-
dered from time to time by their repective com-
