The bill entitled, an Act to repeal the act of 1860, chapter
359, which incorporates the Baltimore and Little Gunpowder
Falls Turnpike Company, and to incorporate in the stead
thereof the Baltimore and Jerusalem Turnpike Company;

Being under consideration,

Mr. Kimmel submitted the following amendment,

Amend section 15, line 5, by striking out the words "ten
thousand dollars," insert the words "such an amount of mo-
ney that six per cent, thereof shall equal the average yearly
sum expended during the last four years by said commission-
ers upon the said Belair road between the city of Baltimore
and the Little Gunpowder falls;

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then read the 2nd time, and ordered to be en-
