CHAPTER 300.

AN ACT to grant the sanction of the General
Assembly to the bequest of Mary Hunt, of Bal-
timore county, to the Trustes of West Liberty
Methodist Episcopal Church in said county.

Passed Mar.
13,1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted. That the sanction of
the General Assembly be and it is hereby given
and granted to the bequest of two hundred dollars
in the last will and testament of Mary Hunt, late
of Baltimore county, deceased, to the Trustees of
West Liberty Methodist Episcopal Church in said
county.

Sanction.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 301.

AN ACT to incorporate the Carroll Lumber Com-
pany, for the purpose of Manufacturing, Vend-
ing and Dealing in all kinds of Lumber.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Richard Manning, Ed-
ward Lynch, Isaac Winchester, Edwin F. Reese
and William N. Hayden, of Carroll County, their
associates, successors and assigns, be and they
are hereby created a body politic and. corporate, by
the name and style of the Carroll Lumber Com-
pany, and by that name and style shall have suc-
cession, and be capable of dealing and contracting,
and suing and being sued, and to have and use a
common seal, and to purchase, have and hold in
fee simple or otherwise, property, real, personal
and mixed, in this or any other State; and to use,
lease, grant or dispose of the same as any national
person might do, and receive from other States,
