in the same so valued, and such condemnation and
valuation when paid or tendered to the owner or
owners, shall vest in the United States the estate
and interest in the same thus valued as fully as if
it had beeh legally conveyed by the owner thereof,
and if the valuation shall not be accepted when
tendered, it may be received at any time there-
after; and all the expenses shall be paid by the
United States. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said sheriff,
in execution of such warrant or warrants, may
adjourn from time to time until the same shall be
completed. |

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted. That all the
provisions of the Act of the January session,
eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chapter sixty-
eight, relating to the cession of concurrent juris-
diction to the United States over the lands in the
city of Annapolis therein described, whenever the
same should be conveyed to the United States, by
deed duly executed, and exempting from taxation
property therein described, shall extend and apply
to any lands within the said city, or Anne Arun-
del county, duly conveyed by deed or condemned
to the United States by virtue of the provisions of
this Act. |
