Sec. 7. And be it enacted. That the stock of
said company shall be deemed personal estate and
that all the property, estate and joint stock of the
corporation shall be bound and answerable for its
debts and liabilities. |
No banking
privileges. |
: Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed as granting banking
privileges to said corporation. |
In case of
vacancy. |
Sec. 9. And be it enacted. That in case any of
the above mentioned Commissioners shall resign
or decline to serve, the remaining members are
authorized to fill the vacancy. |
In force and
reservation. |
Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage, and that
the General Assembly reserves to itself the right
to alter, amead or annul this Act at pleasure. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the following additional
sections be added to the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Sureties." |
In case of de-
falcation of se-
curityship. |
Sec. 5. Whenever the surety of any Clerk or
Register of Wills of any county or the city of
Baltimore shall, by petition under oath, certify to
the Judge of the Circuit Court of such county or
city that he believes himself to be in danger of
suffering from his security ship, from the defalca-
tion of such Clerk or Register or from other mal-
