The President announced Senators Maddox and Tome, as
additional members of the committee on the leave asked by
Mr. Kimmel.

Mr. Mules presented the memorial of Washington Booth
and others, against any change in the present municipal gov-
ernment of the city of Baltimore ;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised on that subject.
