may from time to time appoint; and all meetings
of the president and directors of said company
may also be held at either of the above named
places which the president of said company may
from time to time appoint; and in all meetings of
the stockholders of said company, any number of
them representing a majority of the capital stock
subscribed, and in all meetings of the president
and directors of said company, a majority of said
president and directors shall constitute a quorum
for the transaction of business.

Invested with
power to make
roads, &c.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That for the purpose
of enabling said company to transport the produce
of their mills, mines and other property to mar-
ket, the said corporation shall be and is hereby
invested with all and singular; the rights, profits,
powers, authorities, immunities, and advantages,
for surveying, locating and constructing railroads
and train roads with the necessary vehicles, and
appurtenances from their mills, mines and works
to connect at any convenient point or points with
other existing railroads in Allegany county, and
for the making, constructing and controlling the
said railroad or roads, train road or train roads,
and the necessary vehicles and appurtenances
thereto belonging, and every part thereof which
by the Act, and more particularly the fifteenth
section thereof, incorporating the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company, and its several supple-
ments were for the lawful purposes of said com-
pany, and the benefit of its corporators, given,
granted, authorized, and secured to the said com-
pany and to the president and directors thereof,
respectively, as fully and as perfectly as if the same
were herein repeated, and said corporation shall
transport on its railroad or roads which may be
constructed under the provisions of this Act, and
also on any railroad or train road which it may
own as hereinbefore authorized, all persons and
property at the same rates of tolls and prices of
transportation, as the Baltimore and Ohio Rail-
road Company are or shall be allowed by law to
charge and receive.
