AN ACT to change the name of Mary Elizabeth
Lewis, of Baltimore City, to Mary Elizabeth
Young. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this Act, the name of Mary Elizabeth Lewis, of
Baltimore City, be and the same is hereby changed
to Mary Elizabeth Young. |
In force, |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT entitled an Act to create a Board of Com-
missioners to keep open the harbor of Baltimore
and the access thereto from obstruction by ice,
and for River and Harbor Relief. |

Commissioners.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the President of the Board of
Trade of the City of Baltimore, and the President of
the Corn and Flour Exchange of the City of Balti-
more, for the time being, together with one other
person, to the from time to time delegated; there-
fore, by a majority of the Presidents of the seve-
ral Marine Insurance Companies, incorporated by
or under the laws of the State of Maryland, and
having their offices in the City of Baltimore, be,
and they are hereby created and constituted a
Board of Commissioners to bestyled " The Harbor
and River Relief Board of Baltimore. |
Duty of the
Board. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That it shall be the
duty of the said Board, and they are hereby au-
thorized and directed, as soon as may be, after the
passage of this Act, to contract for and cause to |
