See. 4. And be it enacted. That no Manager,
officer or agent of the said Corporation shall be al-
lowed directly or indirectly, to borrow any money
or moneys from the said Savings Fund Society,
nor shall the said Society have, hold or purchase
any notes, bonds or mortgages or other securities
for the payments of money, drawn or endorsed by
or existing against any Manager, officer or agent
of the said Savings Fund Society. |

Sec. 5. And be it enacted. That if at any time
the said Corporation misuse or abuse any of the
privileges granted by this Act, or if it may appear
that the said privileges are injurious to the citi-
zens of the State, the Legislature shall have power
to revoke and annul them at any time they may
deem the same expedient. |

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

Life and Accident Insurance Company of Alle-
gany county. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General assem-
bly of Maryland, That Horace Resley, Jeremiah
0. Sullivan, John Hamlin, Frederick Minke,
William Devecmon, A. Chamberlain, James Mor-
rison, Andrew Jackson Clark, William Walsh,
Thomas G. McCulloh and Jesse Wilson and such
other persons as may become associated with them
in the manner herein provided shall be and they
are hereby made and constituted a body politic and
corporate by the name of the "Maryland Fire,
Life and Accident Insurance Company of Allegany
county," and by that name shall have perpetual
succession and be able to sue and be sued, plead
and be impleaded in any court whatever, and may
have and use a common seal, and the same renew |
