Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act repealing the charter of the Union
Rosin Association of Baltimore city, and authorizing the
transfer of all its rights, immunitities and property to the
Maryland Industrial School for Girls ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to amend sections 2 and 24, of the
Act of 1865, chapter 181, relating to "Oysters ;

Which was read the first time and refenred to the Commit-
tee on the Chesapeake and its tributaries ;

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Harmony Lodge, No.
53, of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons ;

Which was read the first time and referred to Messr. Tome,
Billingslea and Bowie.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Huntington Pas-
senger Railway Company;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Wright Mining
Company of Allegany county ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to change the name of John Fran-
cis Stack, of Caroline county, to John Rumbold Stack ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Chestertown
Reading room and Library Association ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to provide for the selection, draw-
ing and summoning of juries in the several counties, and pre-
scribing their qualifications;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Henkle, from the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments, reported favorably on House Resolutions authorizing
the appointment of Commissioners to survey and estimate the
cost of building a railroad from Baltimore city to Drum
Point, in Calvert county ;

The resolutions were then read the second time.

Mr. Waters, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Frank-
lin Manufacturing Company of Wetheredville ;
