AN ACT requiring the Commissioners of Alle-
legany county to levy, for the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court of Allegany county, a certain sum of
money. |
Power to levy
tax. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Commissioners of
Allegany county be authorized and required to
levy the sum of twenty-two hundred and fifty dol-
lars for Horace Resley, Clerk of the Circuit Court
of Allegany county, to pay for dockets furnished
by him to said county, from the first day of Jan-
uary, eighteen hundred and fifty-two, to the first
day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
said dockets being part of the records of said
county. |
Future levy
to be made. |
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Com-
missioners of Allegany county be authorized and
required to levy in future for the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Allegany county when they make their
annual levy, the sum of fifty dollars for each and
every docket that may be furnished by him, to be
preserved as a record of the county. |

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage. |

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Kent county to subscribe in
behalf of said county to the capital stock of the
Kent County Railroad Company, and to issue
bonds for the Fame, and to provide for their
redemption. |
