and Ellen Wimsatt;

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the word "Resolution," and add the
following in lieu thereof:
"In favor of Frances Wimsatt, Ellen Wimsatt and Nancy
Wiles, of Harford county.''
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of Maryland be, and he is hereby directed on the
warrant of the Comptroller, to pay over to Francis Wimsatt
and Ellen Wimsatt, widows, respectively of Benedict and
James L. Wimsatt, and to Nancy Wiles, farmer widow of
Ephraim Gover Hopkins—soldiers of the War of 1812, each,
or to their order, in quarterly payments, the sum of eighty
dollars per year during their lives from the passage of this
resolution.

county to refund to the heirs of W. H. Williams, taxes paid

a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section four of chapter three
of the Act of 1865, chapter one hundred and sixty, en-
itled, "School House sites," and section 1 chapter 1, en-
titled, ''sources of income, of the Act of 1865, chapter 160,
entitled, an Act to add a new article to the Code of Public
General Laws, to be entitled, public instruction, providing a
uniform system of free public schools for the State of Mary-
land, and to repeal all existing laws inconsistent therewith,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
