CHAPTER 72. |

AN ACT to refund to L. T. Hyatt a certain sum
of money erroneously paid into the State Treas-
ury. |

SECTION 1. lie it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be authorized
and directed, upon the warrant of the Comptroller
to pay to the order of L. T. Hyatt, collector of
State taxes, of the second election district of Mont-
gomery county, the sum of seventy-sevon dollars
and six cents, erroneously paid into the State
Treasury by the said Collector in the year eigh-
teen hundred and sixty. |

upon warrant. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

CHAPTER 73. |

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Kent county to convey to Isaac Parsons and
others, of said county, a portion of Old Crew's
Landing, near the mouth of Sassafras river. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Kent county be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered to convey unto Isaac Parsons,
Henry T. Jump. James A. Rosebury, George
Gale, Alexander Wilson, William Busick, Thomas
J. Shellcross, and others who may unite with
them, thirty feet front of the public landing at or
near the mouth of Sassafras river, known as the
Old Crew's Landing, in Kent county, the said
thirty feet to lie located at the lower or western-
most end of said landing. |
