AN ACT to make valid certain bequests under the
Will of Eleanor G. Scott, late of Baltimore city
deceased.

Bequest de-
clared valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sanction of the Legislature
of Maryland, be and the same is hereby given to
the following bequest in and under the Will of
Eleanor G. Scott, late of Baltimore city deceased,
that is to say, to the ladies Branch Bible Society of
Baltimore, seventy-five dollars; to the Board of
Domestic Missions; of the General Assembly of the
Presbyterian church in the United States of
America, seventy-five dollars; to the Board of For-
eign Missions of the Presbyterian church in the
United States of America, seventy-five dollars; to
the Union Protestant Infirmary in the city of Bal-
timore, fifty dollars; to the Maryland Tract Socie-
ty, auxiliary to the American Tract Society, sev-
enty-five dollars; to the Sunday School Union, sev-
enty-five dollars; to the aged Ministers Associa-
tion of the Presbyterian church, seventy-five dol-
lars; to Benjamin Franklin Scott of Lancaster
county, Pennsylvania, four hundred dollars, in
trust for the use and benefit of Little Brittian
Presbyterian church, Falton Township, Lancaster
county, Pennsylvania.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
