AN ACT requiring the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county to construct a bridge
across the Eastern Branch at Bladensburg on
the turnpike leading to Washington, and au-
thorizing them to levy a sum therefor. |
Authority to
build a bridge. |
SECTION 1. Belt enacted by Hie General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Commissioners of Prince
George's county are hereby required and empow-
ered to cause a good and substantial bridge for
travel to be constructed under their direction
across the Eastern Branch at Bladensburg on the
turnpike leading to Washington; and to that
end they are hereby authorized to adopt such
plans and make such contracts and to do all other
acts necessary for the erection and completion of
said bridge. |
Empowered
to levy taxes. |
Sec. 2. Be it further enacted. That the said Coun-
ty Commissioners of Prince George's county shall
levy upon the taxable property of their county
for the construction and completion of said bridge. |
In force. |
Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

twenty-fourth Article of the Code of Public
General Laws, title Conveyancing, and to re-
enact the same with an amendment. |

of Maryland, That the nineteenth section of the
Code of Public General Laws, title Conveyancing,
