and in case the said spring shall be appropriated
to the use of said company under this Act, the cit-
izens of the said Town shall not he deprived of
the use of the waters of said spring while the said
works are in progress of construction, unless good
water suitable for drinking shall be provided for
them, free of expense, until the said works shall
be ompleted. |
Banking pri-
vileges prohib-
ited. |
Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed to give to the said
company any banking privileges, and the General
Assembly hereby reserves the right to alter, amend
or repeal the charter hereby created. |

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to refund to Isaac Amos, late Sheriff of
Harford county, a certain sum of money erro-
neously paid into the Treasury. |
Treasurer to
pay upon war
rant. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be authorized
and directed, upon the warrant of the Comptrol-
ler to pay to the order of Isaac Amos, late Sheriff
of Harford county, the sum of sixty dollars and
sixty-six cents, ($60 66) erroneously paid into the
State Treasury by the said Sheriff, in the year
eighteen hundred and sixty-six. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |
