REPORT OF THE CLERK OF THE COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS FOR CECIL COUNTY,

IN RESPONSE TO AN

ORDER OF THE HOUSE.

To the Honorable Oliver Miller,

Speaker of the House of Delegates

of Maryland:

In response to an order of the House of Delegates, passed
March 8th inst., I submit herewith a statement of the boun-
ties paid by me for the County Commissioners of Cecil county,
under chapters 15 and 373 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of 1864, showing the amount paid to each of the soldiers
named therein, the whole amount received from the State for
that purpose, and the balance clue the State to date on that
account.

No commission has been charged by me for the disburse-
ment of the monies accounted for in this statement, nor have
I received any compensation therefor, but have suffered a loss
of $50.00 for counterfeit money received among said funds.
