Mr. Henkle moved that said bill be made the order of the
day, for to-morrow at 11 1/2 o'clock;

Determined in the affirmative.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 68 and 76, of
article 26, of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland entitled, "Corporations," and re-epact the same
with amendments,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act authorizing and directing the
Committee on claims to examine into and pay the claims of
the members and officers of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, for services at the extra session in Frederick city, in
September 1861, and appropriating a sum of money to pay
the same;

Being under consideration,

Mr. Maddox asked and obtained leave to withdraw said
bill from the files of the Senate;

The bill entitled, a supplement to the Act of 1833, chapter
194 entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Poto-
mac Rail Road Company;

Was on motion by Mr. Compton,
Ordered to lie over.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 2, of article 87,
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to sheep and
dogs; and to enact the following sections in lieu thereof;

Was on motion by Mr. Waters,

Recommitted to the Committee on Agriculture, and order-
ed to be printed.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Methodist
Episcopal church and Cemetery society of Kent county, near
Galena, in Kent county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading ;

The bill entitled, an Act to empower Atwood Blunt of Bal-
timore county, State of Maryland, to construct a Railroad
from the Waltersville Quarry to the Baltimore and Ohio
Rail Road;
