The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections twenty-seven
and twenty-eight, of Article eighteen, of Public Local Laws
entitled, St. Mary's County, and Sub-title Charlotte Hall,
and re-enact the same as amended,

Being under consideration.

By unanimous consent Mr. Compton submitted the follow-
ing amendment:

Amend Section 1 by inserting the following in line 9, after
the word "county :" Nor shall it be lawful for any person
licensed to sell spirituous or fermented liquor, in the village
of Charlotte Hall, to sell, dispose of, barter or give liquor of
any kind, or in any quantiity, to be drunk in any store, pub-
lic place, or at any place within two miles of said village,
other than a private dwelling.
