The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following :

BY THE SENATE,

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

The Senate passed a bill of your House to repeal a law au-
thorizing liquor to be sold at Woodbury, in Baltimore coun-

ty.

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return the
bill to the Senate.

Mr. Lankford submitted the following :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message asking the return of the
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the law prohibiting liquor to
be sold at Woodbury, in Baltimore county, and hereby re-
turn the same. By order,

Mr. Neilson submitted the following :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We respectfully decline to return the bill repealing the
law prohibiting the sale of liquor at Woodbury, Baltimore
county, aa the same has been duly enacted a law, and in ac-
cordance with the decision of the-Senate on the Boom bill
we respectfully decline to return the bill.

The message submitted by Mr. Lankford, was then assent-
ed to and sent to the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Ordered, That during the recess of the Legislature, the
Hall of the House of Delegates and Committee rooms thereto
attached, shall be under the care and control of the present
Hall Keeper;

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Charles,

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Davis,
of Charles, voted for the general appropriation bill under a
protest against a number of the appropriations as being un-
