Flaherty, Robson, Knott, Boswell, Davis, of Baltimore city,
Feig, Bixler, Pitts, Aydelott, Gordy, Wilson, Brace, Car-
michael, Neale, Pooje, Gore, Dawson, Hammond—42.

On motion of Mr. Bixler,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify the absent
members to give their attendance, and to bring them before
the bar of the House.

After some time the Sergeant-at-Arms returned, and re-
ported that he had brought before the bar of the House all
the absent members now in the city.

On motion of Mr: Stevens,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed
with.

The question then recurred upon the amendment proposed
by Mr. Bixler ;

It was adopted by yeas and nays as follow:
