The question then recurring on the 4th amendment pro-
posed,

Amend .sub-section 2, line 5, after the word "Treasurer,"
insert "all ministers of the Gospel;

It was rejected.

The question then recurring upon the 5th amendment pro-
posed,

Amend section 15, by striking out the whole section ;
It was rejected.

The question then recurring upon the 6th amendment pro-
posed,

Amend sub-section 19, line 2, by striking out the word,
" five " and inserting the word " three ;"

It was rejected.

Mr. Neilson submitted the following message,

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 19th, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

The House of Delegates having refused to concur in amend-
ments proposed by the Senate to to the House bill, entitled,
" An Act to repeal article 63, Code of Public General Laws,
relating to militia, and sections 652 to 770, both inclusive,
of article 4, Code of Public Local Laws, relating to mili-
tia in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact said article 63,
with amendments. We respectfully request your Honorable
Body to recede from said amendments.

Secretary.
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.

Mr. Bruce moved that the House do now adjourn until to-
morrow morning at ten o'clock,

Which was decided in the negative by yeas and nays as
