Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled ''Wash-
ington county," and to re-enact the same, with amendments.

Lodge No. 1, Maryland, of the Independent Order of Good
Templars of Keediesville, Washington county,

Also, the bill entitled an Act to change the name of John
Francis Stack, of Caroline county, to John Humbold Stack.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the United
States Real Estate, Mining and Manufacturing Company.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to change the name of Dr.
Andrew Dunlap Palmer to Andrew Johnson Palmer, of Bal-
timore city.

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Also, delivered a bill entitled, an Act to add an additional
section to article 29 of the Code of Public General Laws in
relation to courts;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to provide for the changing of
names by application to the Judge of the several circuit
courts of this State and of the Circuit Court of Baltimore
city ;

Which was read a first time and referred to Committee on
Judiciary.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to apportion and divide the
fees and charges received and expenses incurred by the sev-
eral State guagers of casks and inspectors of domestic distilled
liquors in Baltimore city in equal propot tions among the said
officers ;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Inspections.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to ratify the proceedings of
the County Commissioners of Allegany county, directing
Wm. Walsh, trustee of John Callam, late collector, deceased,
to sell land for subsequent taxes, with proposed amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend the first section by adding thereto the following :
Provided that the said proceedings and orders are and have

been in conformity with the requirements of article 81 of the

Code of Public General Laws of this State; title—"Revenue

and Taxes; "sub-title—"Direct Taxes."

Amend section 2 by adding at the end of the 7th line the
