800 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 8,

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day.

Mr. Jones moved to prostpone the consideration thereof
for fifteen minutes;

Which was sustained.

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Baltimore city,

The vote by which the motion made by him to take up for
consideration the bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 6, of
Article 35, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
the attendance of the Judge of Election, and section 9, of
said Article prescribing the oath of Judge of Election, and
section 12 of said Article, prescribing notice of Elections to
be given by the Sheriffs of the several counties and to enact a
substitute for each of said sections;
Was reconsidered; and

On motion of Mr. Jones,

(The rules were suspended.)

And the bill read a third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follow :
