The Senate adjourned until 8 o'clock, P. M.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 92, of Article 30,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title, crimes and punish-
ments, sub-title Kidnapping;

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and

Was accordingly engrossed.
On motion by Mr. Vickers,

The bill was read the third time by special order, three-
fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:

ary session, 1864, chapter 105, entitled, an Act to repeal
sections 42 and 43, of Article 66, of the Code of Public Gener-
al Laws, relating to Manumission, and to enact a substitute
therefor, providing for the manumission of slaves, and also,
to repeal sections 42 and 43, of Article 67, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title, Negroes, and sub-title, Free Ne-
groes, and Manumission;
