700 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 4,

On motion of Mr. Knott,
(The rulea beiag suspended)

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill to repeal section 3 of Article 85 of the Code of
Public General Laws entitled, "Seamen ;"

Also, leave to introduce a bill to add additional sections to
the 4th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating
to the drawing of jurors in Baltimore city.

Mr. Davis, of Baltimore city, offered the following :

Ordered, That at three o'clock this House take a recess
until eight o'clock this evening, and continue in session then
until all local bills on the Speaker's desk are disposed of;

Which was not adopted,

On motion of Mr. Hall,
The House took a recess until 8 o'clock this P. M.

MONDAY, March 4th, 8 P. M.

The House met.
