The Secretary of the Senate returned the bill entitled, an Act
to repeal the 27th, 28th and 29th sections of the Code of Public
Local Laws, and to enact another section in lieu; thereof, re-
lating to the sale of spirituous liquors to the paupers at the
Almshouse ;
Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title by inserting in the 3rd line, after the word
"Laws" the words, "title, 'Anne Arundel county,' sub-title,
'Almshouse;" '
Amend 1st section by inserting in the 4th line, after the
word " laws," "title, 'Anne Arundel county,' sub-title,
'Almshouse;'"
The amendments were concurred in, and the bill, as amend-
