The further consideration of the bill was informally post-
poned.

The bill entitled, an Act to make valid the official acts of
Justices of the Peace appointed by Governor Bradford, in the
month of December, 1865, and January, 1866;

Being upon its third reading.

On motion of Mr. Carmichael

The vote by which the bill was ordered to a third reading,
Was reconsidered.

Mr. Carmichael proposed the following amendment:

Provided, That nothing in this Act shall be construed to
effect judgments rendered by said Justices;

Which was adopted.
