Ordered, That Mr. King is excused from attendance on
this Hottse until to-morrow on account of Indisposition.

On motion of Mr. Calvert,
The rules being suspended,

"Ordered, That John A. Thompson, (former Register of
the city of Baltimore,) report to this House, without delay,
the amount of money he received from the State of Mary-
land to disburse to volunteers as bounty; the amount dis-
bursed by him and vouchers therefor; whether he paid the
soldiers in full, or charged a per centage; and why he has
not settled his account with the Comptroller.

The bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claim of Wheelwright Mudge & Co. ;

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
