Was read a, second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Burche, (the rules being suspended,)
Reported favorably without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled, an Act to amend the 15th. Article
of the Coda of Public Local Laws, entitled, Montgomery
county, relating to the powers of the Commissioners of the
town ozf Roekville;

Which was read a second time.

On motion of Mr. Gorsuch,

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Beneficial So-
ciety of the Laboring Son's of Frederick city;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,

The bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled, an Act
to incorporate the Franklin Turnpike Road Company, passed
BJarcH 10th, 1828, chapter 186, by providing for an increase
of tolls on said road;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Speaker called up for consideration the bill entitled,
an Act supplement to an Act entitled, an Act to incorporate
the Peabody Institute of the city of Baltimore, passed on the
9th day of March, 1858, chapter 209;

Said bill being upon its second reading,

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to he en-
grossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

The rules were suspended, and

The Vote by which the bill entitled, an Act to further ex0
tend the time and provisions of the Act passed February 6th,
1864, chapter 15, and March 14t}i, 1864, chapter 373, relat-
ing to the payment of bounties to volunteers and drafted men
of this State;

Was ordered to a third reading, was reconsidered;
The bill being then upon its second reading;

On motion of Mr. Morgan, was. recommitted.

On motion of Mr. Williams,

The bill entitled, an Act to extend the provisions of the Ac
of January Sessjpn, 1865, for the, relief of certain parties for
paytment therein mention;
