On motion of Mr. Jump,

The bill entitled, an Act for the extension of the powers of
the bailiff of the town of Easton in Talbot county;

Said bill being upon its second reading.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to l# en-
grossed for a third reading. :'

On motion of Mr. Neale,
The rules being suspended,

The bill entitled, an Act to amend and re-enact section* 92,
Article 17 of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county,
relating to Justices of the Peace and constables;

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Calvert, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported
favorably without amendments the Senate bill entitled, an
Act to prevent the spread of the disease called Glanders, in
this State;

Which was read a second time.
On motion t>f Mr. Neale,

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Howard Lodge
No. 13, Independent Order of Good Templars of Leitersburg,
Maryland;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Kraft, ill entitled, an Act supplementary to an Act, passed
at January session, 1852, entitledj an Act to incorporate the
Santa Clara Mining Association of Baltimore, authorizing said
association to make and enforce payment of calls or assess-
ments upon its capital stock;

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Wampler,

The Senate bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the West-
minster Gas Light Company;

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
low:
