The bill entitled, an Act to repealsections 5, 6, and 8, of
chapter 24, passed at December session, 1835, entitled, an
Act to authorize Wm. Kirbs, Richard Linthicum and Wil-
liam Linthicum to build a bridge over Gwynn's Falls, at or
near where the present bridge stands, known as the Long
Bridge and to enact a substitute therefor,

The rules being considered as further suspended,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to alter and change the name of
William Brown, (colored) of Frederick city, to the name of
John William Brown;

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
ow :
