The vote by which the adjournment was fixed for Monday ,
at 12 o'clock, was reconsidered.

Mr. Ford moved that the House adjourn until to-morrow
morning at 12 o'clock, which was decided in the negative by

On motion of Mr. Jones,

The House then took up for consideration the resolutions
submitted by Mr. Gorsuch, referring to the death of Mr. Ma-
graw, which had been informally postponed.

The question being upon filling the blank in said resolu-
tions.

Mr. Davis, of Baltimore city, moved to fill up the blank
with the words "Monday morning next, at eleven o'clock ;"
