Mr. Gorsuch submitted the following amendment: In sec-
tion six, line four, strike out the words, "on the second
Wednesday of May, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven," and
insert, "at such time as is prescribed and provided for in
section two, article eleven, of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland."
