Registers, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, for the County
aforesaid, within the time required by law, nor did they, or
either of them, take the oath of office before said Clerk, or any
ot his sworn deputies as required by law
I further certify, that, the aforesaid Registers, to wit: Wil-
liam R. Sellers, George S. Lee and Upton F. Biggs, did not,
nor did either of them, at any time within the period required
by law, nor at any time thereafter, file or lodge with the
Clerk aforesaid, a copy of the register of qualified voters to be
recorded by said Clerk according to law, as required by sec-
tion 12, of Chapter 174, passed at January Session 1865.
In testimony whereof, I hereunto subscribe my
[SEAL] name, and affix the seal of the Circuit Court for
Allegany county, this 10th day of December, 1866
